My old backyard Hills rotary clothesline ground post rusted out and fell over. For 4 weeks, part of the clothesline was still useable while waiting for a left side house brick wall Austral fold-down clothesline to be installed. The Hills rotary clothesline was next dismantled and permanently removed. Since the house side doesn't receive much sunlight, a smaller simple clothesline was needed for positioning near the backyard fence. The left side corner between two 185 cm high fence posts proved ideal for mounting a 3.5 metre length of Shockloc line. This area receives more sunlight than any other part of my yard, hence is suitable for drying thick wet clothes and towels. I'm 6 ft tall, yet can still easily walk under both clotheslines. The Shockloc cord is intended as a permanent fixture to supplement the large Austral Standard 28 fold-down clothesline. When no clothes are on the line, there is no gravity sag (see attached photo). The Shockloc line is an efficient low profile clothesline that has provided more physical space in my backyard.
Hi Todd, thanks for taking the time to leave this detailed review & pic. They're not just for camping, that's for sure. I also use them in the yard & between the shed anwing posts to make best use of the sunlight at different times of the day.

As always, Shock Loc delivered and provided excellent service. The Travel / Camping Clothesline works a treat and is so handy that I intend to order another. We even use the line to hang our camping light. The line sits in a pocket in our Kombi.

Bought one clothesline. Though I lost it. Bought another. Found the lost one. Now I have two! Happy with that as it has multiple uses!
Cheers Daarma, they definately have many uses & not just around the campsite either. Also great around the house, particularly to set up indoors or undercover on those rainy days.
I now have 3 of these which I use x2 for my caravan washing lines and the other one I use for when I work away to hang work clothes on to dry. Very pleased with product and so
